Clubhouse
Merry-making at Ciudad de Calamba
Ciudad de Calamba, the 350-hectare township development
of Filinvest Land, recently launched the first of their many recreational
hubs in the south with the launch of the Vista Hills Clubhouse.
All the guests and homeowners from Vista Hills,
Montebello, and Punta Altezza, the three communities found inside
Ciudad de Calamba, celebrated the official opening of the first
Clubhouse in a day full of entertaining activities.
The event started out with a rousing musical number
from the Canossa Academy Bugle Band, a local children's group that
has performed in several Ciudad de Calamba events. As they performed
wearing their bright yellow outfits, several residents came out
of their homes to watch and even marched along with the band on
their way towards the basketball court. The Bugle Band was rewarded
with a round of applause for their musical skills and baton twirling
talents.
The homeowners' children wore varied and creative
costumes for the Clubhouse Halloween Party. Justice League characters
came in, followed by the Hunchback of Notre Dame, who by the way,
won the Best Costume Award. Adding magic to the wonderful activity
are the goblins, fairies, zoo animals and witches. Endless parlor
games, balloon twisting demonstration, and food carts loaded with
pizza, nachos, and fries made the party a huge success. The kiddie
cuisine was sponsored by Woodridge Pizza, who is also a commercial
locator of Ciudad de Calamba. |

While they're having Halloween fun at the Clubhouse,
the hardcourt was being used for a friendly game of children's basketball.
The kids showed promise in the sport that all of us truly love.
Fast-paced action followed with the competitive
adult basketball game between the Vista Hills homeowners and Ciudad
de Calamba staff that ended with the homeowners' victory.
Everyone's obvious enjoyment
of the game is a guarantee that the Clubhouse facility offers clean
fun, and builds up the camaraderie of both players and spectators.

Kids who can't help looking at the swimming pool
finally had the chance to take a refreshing dip after they changed
from being super heroes and back to their original, but not less
interesting, selves. Squeals of delight filled the late afternoon
air in no time at all.
When dusk finally came in, the guests were presented
with an exciting fireworks display as sparkling lights and colorful
balls burst out in the darkened skies. The oohhs and aahhs by the
crowd were proof enough of that. It provided a perfect finale to
an already marvelous day.
To complete the recreational hub in Ciudad de Calamba,
residents of Montebello and Punta Altezza can look forward to the
construction of their own Clubhouse in 2005.
You can get to Ciudad de Calamba by taking the
Batino Exit at the South Luzon Expressway. Take time to check out
this township with residential and commercial lots for sale, and
industrial lots for lease/sale.
